Strike Pack Description
Based on a time tested, battle proven and widely accepted US design that is hard to ignore, SORD has added to this great design concept enhancing its comfort, strength and inter-operability.
One of the most prominent additions is our load attachment buckle with its Mil-Spec high tensile hardware and webbing, allowing the STRIKE pack to be attached to any vehicle or strop and will not come loose, tear off or break free (battle tested in Afghanistan).
Back face lining has been replaced with an extremely comfortable air-mesh material.
Internal tear away MOLLE panel allows the attachment of MEI’s and various other pouches. When not required simply pull the insert out and set it aside.
Twin antenna / hydration hose ports with Velcro down flaps.
Two internal zip mesh pockets are large enough to fit a wide array of items but have been kept small enough to limit drooping. Each internal pouch opens via a single zip slider to minimize slider creep when loaded up.
Six external compression straps with Fastex clips control loads and take pressure off the main lid zip.
Large Velcro square panel for IFF / ANF tabs and various "bling".
Large tube tape carry handle.
Side sleeves have been kept in place for longer tools such as shotgun, machete, breaching tools etc.
Quick release Fastex buckle shoulder straps.
This is definitely not a cheap knock off, rather the enhancement of an already effective proven design tweaked and modified with the aim of providing added user comfort, strength and adaptability. Constructed of all the finest materials at our factory in Melbourne.
Note: Custom orders in other patterns are possible but first call us to discuss availability and lead time.
No SubstituteBy: RD on 3 June 2018I researched along with some mates prior to deploying for a better bag to use as a MedPack in the MEAO. We needed something durable and modern to replace our issued med kit pack that just was Not Up To Scratch. In 2008, this was the go to bag for that task. It fits 4 velcro med pouches inside easily. (The ones people flog for shaving kits). It also fits all your observation equipment nice and neat in the zipper pouches under the flap with room for gloves and spare kit. I had mine rigged with a camel back moll pouch on one side that fitted an C size cylinder of O2 and 2x lrg magazine pouches on the sides down low for extra storage. Worked out great, till some A-hole stole it. Hence why I'm reviewing it now and buying a replacement.
Bomb ProofBy: J.H on 21 March 2017I ran this bag as a CFA, the internal velcro options made it very easy to set the bag up with rip out cells. Everything is well constructed, loads of ways to set it up. Crabbed to outside of bushy for months, no dramas or any sign or wear & tear, sturdy bit of kit. Only bit i didn't like (which was negligible in my case) was the velcro molle insert for the pack, the molle - pal spacing must have been just a little off, after 10 minutes of trying to thread some pouches onto it i gave up.
