Air Assault Day Pack

At the request of several Defence units, we’ve re-released the Air Assault Day Pack for a limited run. This pack remains one of the few Australian-owned solutions approved for parachute operations. True to the lineage of the original, it provides fast rigging, safe deployment, and efficient stowage.

The pack body follows the proven, time-tested design of our Day Pack series, adapted specifically for use as a releasable jump pack. We’ve introduced select material and feature upgrades to reduce weight and improve usability, while maintaining full compatibility with the in-service design.

Features

Weather Resistant:
Tubular main compartment with a dry-bag style roll-top closure to help minimise dust and moisture ingress. A single mesh pocket with a robust zip sits under the lid for convenient admin storage.

Hydration System Compatible:
Two antenna/hydration hose ports are integrated into the lid.

Large Capacity:
Internal volume of 30 litres.

Compression Straps:
Dual side compression straps help reduce profile and minimise equipment movement.

Lightweight & Durable:
25mm webbing carry handles on both sides and the top. External hard attachment point on the upper rear face with reinforced stitching and V-ring hardware. Constructed from 500D mil-spec nylon for an optimal balance of strength and weight.

Parachute Approved:
One of the only Australian-owned, Defence-approved options for parachuting assault packs.
