MATERIALS:
All SORD nylon products are made from US manufactured materials. All webbing and binding tapes are imported into Australia with mil spec compliance certification and adhere to the strictest specifications. All tapes and webbing products are highly engineered to meet stringent requirements on durability, and also adherence to demanding visual and aesthetic specifications. SORD products are made using only 1000 denier Cordura Nylon. Cordura is one of the most versatile fabrics ideally suited across a whole range of military end uses. Cordura provides endurance and rugged durability for equipment exposed to extreme conditions and is resistant to cuts, tears and scuffs. 1000 denier Cordura is ideally suited to tactical applications for its weight, strength and long-term wearability.

Regarding stitching and construction of all SORD products, please find following:
- All stitching is core spun 20 - 40 bonded nylon, coated for mildew resistance and UV resistance, with a breaking strain of 5.2kg - 10.2kg respectively.
- All 19mm and 25mm binding is double stitched and heat cut at ends.
- All stress points are bar-tacked.
- Stitch length on all stitching is 7 - 10 stitches per inch.
- All starts and ends of straight sewing are back stitched 1 inch as are all bobbin changes.

During the manufacturing process, care is taken to ensure quality exceeds international parachute standards as we prefer to over engineer our products for maximum longevity.
